Ashley Wilcox

Hello! My name is Ashley Wilcox. My first trip to Walt Disney World was in 1988. I was 4 years old and it was during Christmas time with my Mom, Grandparents, and Cousins. They were also celebrating Mickey Mouse’s 60th Birthday. Who knew the mouse would still be a huge part of my life 30 years later. I remember seeing “The Little Mermaid” in theaters the next year and I think that solidified my Disney love.

I love to learn the history of Disney, the company, the brand, the parks, and the man, Walt Disney. It’s fascinated me how everything we see today, started with a little boy drawing on barn doors. Walt had so much adversity thrown his way and he overcame all of it. Walt said: “All the adversity I've had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me... You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.” That's how I keep going, and no matter where I go, Disney brings me back home.

My mother took me to Walt Disney World many times and those are some of my fondness memories. Now that I am a mother I want to share those same memories with my own child. I am so blessed that he shares my love for Disney.

My goal is not only to help plan your family’s dream vacation but to help others see how fun, magical, and indescribable Disney can be at all ages. Disney transcends generations. Grandparents, parents, kids, best friends, teens, families of all shapes and sizes are welcomed at Disney. I’ve had the best time in my adult life taking girls trips! Every time I go, I find something new to explore!

There’s so much MORE to do now at Disney. Now more than ever! After Hour events are one of my favorite events. The shopping at Disney’s Springs is fabulous. Restaurants, Spas, Golf, Parties...the possibilities are endless.
